Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how you can obtain a refund for paid services from Cruxdata.

1. Monthly Retainer Subscriptions

Retainer subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Because we begin work immediately after billing, retainer fees are non-refundable after the billing date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents future charges.

Cancellation is one-click.

To cancel, log in and click the "Cancel subscription" button in your account settings. This ends future billing immediately. You will retain access through the end of the current billing period. Cancellation is at least as easy as signup.

2. Free Trials

If Cruxdata offers you a free trial, we will send you a reminder email at least three (3) business days before the trial ends notifying you that a charge is imminent, showing the amount, and providing a one-click cancellation link. If we fail to send this reminder and you are charged, you may request a full refund of the initial charge by emailing preston@cruxdata.io; we will process it within five business days.

3. Erroneous Charges

If you believe you have been charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, charge after cancellation), email preston@cruxdata.io within 60 days of the charge. We will investigate and, where we agree the charge was erroneous, refund the disputed amount to your original payment method within ten (10) business days.

4. Ad Spend

Ad spend is billed directly by the ad platforms (Google, Meta, etc.) to the payment method on file with that platform. Cruxdata does not process ad spend and cannot refund it. Contact the ad platform directly for ad-spend disputes.

5. Prohibited Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most issues can be resolved directly within a few business days. Filing a chargeback for a charge we would have refunded on request is a breach of our Terms of Service.
